Hulu’s ‘Hardy Boys’ Series to End After Season 3

Hulu is in production on the third season of The Hardy Boys, sadly, per according to Variety, season 3 will be it’s last.

Filming is underway in Toronto and southern Ontario, Canada. The eight-episode third season will pick up right where season two left off following the boys and their friends as they dig up more secrets and conspiracies. Meanwhile, they’ll continue piecing together their great-grandfather’s map to uncover a powerful relic before it falls into the wrong hands.

The trade is also reporting Bailee Madison (The Fosters) has joined the cast in a guest role playing Drew Darrow. She joins a cast that includes Rohan Campbell, Alexander Elliot, Keana Lyn, Adam Swain, Cristian Perry, Riley O’Donnell, and Krista Nazaire.

Based on the popular Hardy Boys book series created by Edward Stratemeyer. The series follows two brothers, Frank (Campbell) and Joe Hardy (Elliot), alongside their friends and father, trying to disclose the truth about something quite menacing happening right in their own town of Bridgeport.

The Hulu project is produced by Nelvana and Lambur Productions. All 13 episodes of the first season were released on Hulu on December 4, 2020. Season 2 was released on April 6, 2022. The final season is expected to premiere next year on Hulu in the U.S. and on YTV and STACKTV in Canada, with more international networks to be announced.
