From Wakanda to a galaxy far, far away?
Angela Bassett is an actress whose iconic career has spanned decades. Although she was just recently presented with an honorary Oscar for her contributions to cinema, it looks like she’s nowhere near finished.

According to a new rumor from industry insider Daniel RPK, the actress has recently met with Lucasfilm about playing a role in a Star Wars project!
No clue what said project could be, but if the company is eyeing her for anything it’s got to be big!
Just last year, Bassett made Academy Award and Marvel Studios history by being the first actor to be nominated for an Oscar for a role in the MCU. She received the nomination for her role as Queen Ramonda in Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, but she unfortunately lost to Jamie Lee Curtis (for her role in Everything Everywhere All At Once), but as previously mentioned she’s since been awarded her own Oscar now.
