Disney Dreamlight Valley rings in the new year with its 9th update, “The Laugh Floor” is launching February 28th.
With this free update available to all players, travel to the “Monsters Inc” realm from the Dreamlight Castle and invite Mike and Sulley to your valley. The two characters each come with their own friendship quests and new unlockable items to collect, including fashion accessories motifs, and coins.
The new update to Disney Dreamlight Valley also brings in the new Star Path, themed to “Monsters Inc”. Previous items were hinted, such as new decorative doors, kitchen and food furniture items, and a snake hairstyle. It also includes potential new character customization options, such as a purple skin colour.
Update #9 will also bring quality of life changes to Scrooge McDuck’s shop. Players can expect improved stock rotations, new door items added into the catalog, a limit increase to the amount of items that can be purchase from the catalog, and more pedestals to purchase from in the shop.
The developers of Disney Dreamlight Valley have also teased other new items being added to the game. These include hints to a new armour set and the long awaited Partners Statue from the Disney Parks. The Partners statue has been teased as a decorative item for Disney Dreamlight Valley since the pre-registration for the game.
The 9th update to Disney Dreamlight Valley launches on February 28th, available for PC and modern consoles.
