Free Water Park Day Added As Perk For Walt Disney World Resort Guests

Walt Disney World Resort guests finally have a new perk coming their way in 2025: Free water park tickets!

We know, “free” is not a word you hear often while visiting Walt Disney World Resort, but it’s true. This benefit has been confirmed for ALL guests arriving from January 1, 2025 through December 31, 2025.

Tickets will be redeemable either on Disney’s Blizzard Beach or Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon and all the hotels in the resort, from value to deluxe, are said to be eligible for this offer, including:

  • Bay Lake Tower at Disney’s Contemporary Resort
  • Boulder Ridge Villas at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge

  • The Campsites at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort
  • The Villas at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa

You should be able to start booking your stay with this added perk starting tomorrow, February 27, 2024. No additional park reservation is needed at the time this article is published (but that is subject to change).

But yes… There is a catch.

… A few, actually.

Walt Disney World's Typhoon Lagoon

What’s the catch of this Walt Disney World Resort offer?

While the water park tickets will indeed be free for all hotel guests, they will only be redeemable on the day of check-in, not at any other later date (at least not at this time).

Also, keep in mind that both of Disney’s water parks always close for refurbishment annually and are also subject to weather closures and a capacity limit.

Although the Walt Disney World Resort website states that “all guests should be able to enjoy at least one water park experience year-round” we strongly recommend checking the park calendar to confirm availability if you plan on taking advantage of this perk.

And as always, we also recommend going straight to the website or contacting your trusted Disney Travel Agent to learn more about this offer and book your stay.

Once you book your stay, more details on this new perk will be shared to your email sometime in late 2024.

What do you think? Will you be taking on this offer and making a splash in the water parks? Let us know in the comments below.
