In 2017, Pixar Animation Studios ventured into the musical genre with Coco, something new for the storied studio. Well, they are looking get back into the musical business.
According to AjepArts on Twitter, Pixar is developing a brand new movie musical tentatively titled Ducks. Not much is known about the project at this time, but the film will indeed follow… ducks.
The studio has Inside Out 2 set to release this Summer. Next Summer, they will debut their sci-fi adventure Elio, and Toy Story 5 set for 2025. Ducks will likely eye 2026-2027 release. We would imagine an official announcement on the project won’t be revealed until Disney’s D23 Expo this Summer.
