This milestone solidifies its position as the top music film ever on the platform. Over the weekend, devoted fans (Swifties) of Taylor Swift contributed to a staggering 16.2 million hours of viewing time for the 3.5-hour concert film.
Exclusively available on Disney+, the show presents an unparalleled experience, featuring performances of songs previously only witnessed at live concerts. Fans were treated to captivating renditions of new tracks like “cardigan,” along with four additional acoustic performances: “Maroon,” “Death by a Thousand Cuts,” “You Are in Love,” and “I Can See You.”
From the 14-time GRAMMY®-winning artist, Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour grossed a record-breaking nearly $262 million worldwide at the global box office and is another example of Disney+ being home to major events. Elton John: Farewell from Dodger Stadium, Black Is King: A Film by Beyoncé, and The Beatles: Get Back are all currently streaming on Disney+.
