Taylor Swift is continuing to take the world by storm. Hot off the success of The Eras Tour, which did big box office and streaming numbers, the superstar has finally released her new album The Tortured Poets Department. Well, we may see more of her this Summer.
Last year, we released a video discussing what we know so far about Deadpool & Wolverine. In the video, we shared a rumor that we heard Taylor Swift would appear in the film as the X-Men character Dazzler. Since then, the rumor/speculation mill has been going off on social media. We know Taylor Swift has worn the Deadpool mask for fun [she is good friends with Ryan Reynolds and his wife Blake Lively]. Then a few months back she was spotted at a Chiefs game with Reynolds, Lively, and director Shawn Levy. However, there is more to the speculation.
Fans are speculating that Taylor Swift has confirmed that she will be playing Dazzler in Deadpool & Wolverine after she ended her new album The Tortured Poets Department with the word “Dazzling” in the song “Clara Bow“. Taylor is known for throwing her own creative Easter Eggs in her albums.
While it is hardly confirmed, Levy was asked about Swift’s involvement during CinemaCon last week, and let’s just say he didn’t deny it.“I can’t even believe that you would dare ask me a question that you know I can’t answer. You know I can’t answer. All of America knows I can’t answer that. I will say, as I said earlier here at CinemaCon, the proliferation of rumors about who is and isn’t in this movie is fabulous. Because no one will ever know the truth until July 26th.”
