Jeremy Strong is reportedly in talks to join Jeremy Allen White in the upcoming film Nebraska which centers on Bruce Springsteen and the creation of his 1982 album, “Nebraska,” produced by 20th Century Studios.
According to Variety, negotiations are underway for the Succession actor to portray Jon Landau, Bruce Springsteen’s (played by White) longtime manager, in the Scott Cooper-helmed project. Cooper, who is both directing and penning the screenplay, is adapting the film from Warren Zane’s 2023 book, “Deliver Me From Nowhere: The Making of Bruce Springsteen’s Nebraska.”
Nebraska will accompany Bruce Springsteen on his journey to create his 1982 album, Nebraska. As reported by Deadline, the forthcoming film about Springsteen’s life will chronicle his efforts in crafting his sixth studio album, Nebraska, released in 1982.
Springsteen and Landau are involved in the making of the movie, which is expected to start shooting in the fall.
Jeremy Strong’s accolades include a Primetime Emmy Award and a Golden Globe Award, which he won for his breakout role of Kendall Roy in the HBO drama series Succession. Additionally, he has also played other supporting parts in films such as Zero Dark Thirty (2012), The Big Short (2015), Molly’s Game (2017), and Armageddon Time (2022).
