Today, in its 2024 Summer Release, Airbnb announced it’s taking once-in-a-lifetime experience to the next level – with Icons. This groundbreaking category features extraordinary experiences hosted by the world’s greatest icons across music, film, art, sports, and beyond, offering unparalleled opportunities for fans to step into words that have only existed inside their imaginations – and all available only on Airbnb. The first 11 Icons were revealed today, with new Icons dropping every other week – including one that will invite fans to look back on their favorite core memories celebrating Disney and Pixar’s latest film, Inside Out 2, in theaters June 14.
Among those first Icons will bring guests into a world of adventure by stepping into a detailed recreation of one of Disney and Pixar’s most iconic homes – the Up House – powered by thousands of balloons and located in the scenic red rocks of Abiquiu, New Mexico. During their stay, guests will become Junior Wilderness Explorers and work toward earning merit badges, while also enjoying:
- Wilderness excursions during the day and stargazing at night
- Time to create their very own Adventure Book
- Watching the Up house defy gravity
The Up House on Airbnb is now live, with stays starting in June. In addition, they will also soon be inviting fans to look back on their favorite core memories to celebrate Disney and Pixar’s latest movie Inside Out 2, in theaters from June 14.
