Today, the Disney Parks Blog revealed that the Country Bear Musical Jamboree will debut on July 17 at Walt Disney World.
This marks the fourth iteration of Disney’s Country Bears Audio-Animatronic show, succeeding the original Country Bear Jamboree, the Country Bear Christmas Special, and the Country Bear Vacation Hoedown. The characters will remain unchanged, but the show itself will feature a new lineup. For this production, Disney has collaborated with country and folk musicians to develop country-style renditions of classic Disney songs, which the bears will perform.
The new show will feature the bears performing classic Disney songs in their style of country music and its different genres, including bluegrass, Americana, rockabilly, country-pop, and more inspired by the variety shows performed at the Grand Ole Opry in Nashville, Tennessee, with recording sessions for “The Bare Necessities” being presented at the event.
