SEE IT: First Official Look At ‘Star Wars: Skeleton Crew’ Revealed

“When four kids make a mysterious discovery on their seemingly safe home planet, they get lost in a strange and dangerous galaxy. Finding their way home, meeting unlikely allies and enemies will be a greater adventure than they ever imagined.”

According to People, that’s the official synopsis of the brand new series Star Wars: Skeleton Crew.

Very little has been known about the series until now. For instance, thanks to the site, we now know that the show will debut on Disney+ on December 3rd. Additionally, we have our very first look at some very interesting stills.

The coming of age series takes place in the same time frame as the series The Mandalorian and its interconnected spin-offs after the events of the film Return of the Jedi (1983).

Jude Law stars in the series with Ryan Kiera Armstrong, Robert Timothy Smith, Ravi Cabot-Conyers, Kyriana Kratter, Tunde Adebimpe, Kerry Condon, and Jaleel White.

Daniel Kwan and Daniel Scheinert (Everything Everywhere All at Once), David Lowery (Peter Pan & Wendy), Jake Schreier (Thunderbolts*), Bryce Dallas Howard (The Mandalorian), and Lee Isaac Chung (Twisters) also direct episodes from a script by Christopher Ford, Myung Joh Wesner.

The series will consist of eight episodes.
