20th Century has seen a lot of success with their Agatha Christie based movies, which include Murder on the Orient Express, Death on the Nile, and A Haunting in Venice. Well, there are more projects on the way.
While speaking with The Hollywood Reporter, 20th Century Studios president Steve Asbell revealed they have not one, not two, but three movies in the works.
We have, And Then There Were None. We have Witness for the Prosecution. We’re doing Miss Marple. There’s a bunch of other titles that we’re working on. We have very close relationship with the [Agatha Christie] estate.
It should be noted that And Then There Were None, We have Witness for the Prosecution, and Miss Marple do not feature the character of Hercule Peirot (played by Kenneth Branagh). It is unknown if Branagh will continue to direct this franchise despite his character not playing a role.
