Looks like the list for next year’s coolest fashion show just got a lot bigger.
Variety is reporting that Lucy Liu and Justin Theroux have joined the sequel to 20th Century’s The Devil Wears Prada 2.
B.J. Novak, Pauline Chalamet, Helen J. Chen (“Maybe Happy Ending”), Conrad Ricamora (“Oh, Mary!”) and comedian Caleb Hearon (I Used To Be Funny) will also star.
Also joining the cast list are Tracie Thomas and Tibor Feldman. Both will be reprising their roles from the original film.
Though plot details are scarce, the outlet reports that the film will revolve around Runway’s terrifying (and iconic) editor-in-chief Miranda Priestly (Streep) as she navigates her career amid the decline of traditional magazine publishing. She faces off against Blunt’s character, her one-time assistant who is now a high-powered executive for a luxury group, with advertising dollars that Priestly desperately needs.
The film hits theaters May 1, 2026.
