Production on Star Wars: Starfighter officially begins today. To mark the occassion, Lucasfilm has announced the full cast for the upcoming feature film.
Joining the previously announced Ryan Gosling, the film stars Flynn Gray, Matt Smith, Mia Goth, Aaron Pierre, Simon Bird, Jamael Westman, Daniel Ings, and Amy Adams.
It’s unclear who will be playing who in the film, especially Disney alums Pierre and Adams.

Shawn Levy (Deadpool & Wolverine) will direct from a script penned by Jonathan Tropper (Apple TV+’s Your Friends And Neighbors). The film is produced by Levy and Kathleen Kennedy. Executive producers are Ryan Gosling, Dan Levine, Mary McLaglen, and Josh McLaglen.

Star Wars: Starfighter is an all-new standalone adventure. Plot details are scarce but the studio says the film is an entirely original story set in a period of time never before explored in Star Wars.
The film is currently scheduled to hit theaters on May 28, 2027.
