The series will follow Alejandra as she confronts her depression and a supernatural entity, learning to fight back against a curse that has plagued the women in her bloodline. It’s praised for its literary horror, cultural depth, and exploration of themes like systemic oppression and self-discover

The project is produced by 20th Television, with Eva Longoria and Cris Abrego from Hyphenate Media Group serving as executive producers, along with Gigi Saul Guerrero and Raynor Shima from Luchagore. The author, Castro, will also take on a producer role.
