Gregg Sulkin Joins ‘Wizards Beyond Waverly Place’

A beloved character from the original series is set to return for the upcoming four-episode finale of Wizards Beyond Waverly Place.

Gregg Sulkin is coming back to play Mason Greyback, the popular character he portrayed in Wizards of Waverly Place, according to an exclusive report from Deadline.

Details about Mason’s involvement in the storyline remain under wraps, and it’s unclear how many episodes will feature Sulkin’s appearance. However, an exclusive behind-the-scenes image from the Wizards Beyond set may offer some clues about his return.

Sulkin appeared as a recurring guest star in three seasons of Wizards of Waverly Place. His character, Mason Greyback, is a purebred werewolf who serves as a romantic interest for Selena Gomez’s Alex Russo.

Gomez is stepping behind the camera for the first time, directing the opening installment of this four-episode arc. Production reportedly kicked off earlier this month, which hints that Sulkin’s character may show up in the early episodes.

The cast features David Henrie as Justin Russo, alongside Janice LeAnn Brown as Billie, Alkaio Thiele as Roman Russo, Max Matenko as Milo Russo, Taylor Cora as Winter, and Mimi Gianopulos as Giada Russo.
