It’s time to assemble once again, Marvel fans.
Avengers: Doomsday has just released their first official trailer with a new poster and tickets going on sale.
The trailer teases so many characters that were previously announced last year as their preparing to see their universes having an incursion and facing against a green-cloaked mad genius and wizard name Dr. Victor Von Doom who will be played by Robert Downey Jr.
It looks action-packed as we see all our heroes fighting numerous characters: Cyclops (James Marsden) using his optic blasts in Xavier’s Mansion. Gambit (Channing Tatum) and Shang-Chi (Simu Liu) fighting. Mystique (Rebecca Romijn) shape-shifting to Yelena Belova (Florence Pugh) as they both collide. Lastly, Thor (Chris Hemsworth) fighting Doom, but Doom using his magic to hold Thor back from trying to strike him.
Many shots of the trailer includes the Fantastic Four interacting with Shuri (Leitita Wright) aka Black Panther, the Wakandans, Thor (Chris Hemsworth), the main Avengers and even the Thunderbolts aka the New Avengers team. Very surreal to see these many characters interact with each other similar to the Marvel Comics that involves an Avenger level storyline.
We get some cool background shots of the ocean waves behind the Fantastic Four which can likely be assume involve their planet universe is being in danger even Namor the Sub-Mariner (Tenoch Huerta) as his ocean kingdom Talokan is being seen in the surface world.
The trailer ends with Thor being shocked to see his old pal, Steve Rogers (Chris Evans) as he wields Mjölnir once again as he did in Endgame during the battle with Thanos in the Infinity Saga.
There’s a lot to takeaway from this official trailer while it didn’t reveal to much of the story points so it can be save for future trailers unless until December 18.
With San Diego Comic Con happening this coming week, we should know more about what will be in store for our heroes.
