Bob Iger Open To R-Rated DEADPOOL Sequels And Other Marvel Films!

Now that the Disney/Fox deal has been completed one of the biggest questions will be what happens to Deadpool one of the hottest film characters today? Well Bob Iger is aware and plans to move forward with the character. According to Ben Fritz of The Wall Street Journal, Deadpool now being a Disney property doesn’t rule out the possibility of seeing more R-rated installments under the Marvel banner. Igers comments should encourage some fans out there who were worried that Disney might water down the character moving forward. Igers comments could possibly open the door for other R-rated films in the MCU maybe Ghost Rider? It’s unlikely today’s deal affects the X-Men films coming out this year (X-Men: Dark Phoenix, The New Mutants, and Deadpool 2) however a lot of questions will for 2019 and beyond will need to answered.
