EXCLUSIVE: Character Breakdowns For Marvel’s ‘Helstrom’ Series Coming To Hulu

Despite losing Ghost Rider last week, Marvel Television and Hulu are moving forward on their Helstrom series and with production beginning soon; we have received some character breakdowns, which gives us a little insight on the series. [ MARDUK ] 30s-50s: Ana and Daimon’s father. A notorious serial killer who seemingly came back from the dead after being shot in the head. [ MR. CAVALLO ] 30s-40s: seek Ana and Daimon’s help after his son exhibited traits of “demon possession.” [ CARL ] 40s-50s, Black: an old friend of Ana. Call ber to investigate a strange murder case after three bodies were found in the desert. The series will follow Daimon and Ana Helstrom, the son, and daughter of a mysterious and powerful serial killer, who use their powers to track down the worst of humanity. Helstrom will be directed by Daina Reid (The Handmaid’s Tale), along with Finnish director Anders Engström, who are friends at HN Entertainment reported last week, the series was written by Paul Zbyszewski (Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.) who will also serve as executive producer and showrunner with Marvel Television’s Jeph Loeb. Production on the series is expected to begin October 7 and will shoot through late February in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. Keep your eye on announcements during New York Comic-Con which kicks off later this week. Helstrom will debut on Hulu in 2020.
