‘The Rise of Skywalker’ Trailer Rumored to Debut October 21

The Rise of Skywalker trailer is finally here!

Black Series Rebels recently reported that the film’s full trailer would debut during Monday Night Football on October 21.  While some are leery of the date, George Pennacchio from ABC7 tweeted his excited for the trailer citing Star War News Net, who first reported on Black Series Rebels’ scoop.  Although there hasn’t been any official announcement, the news is most likely true.

If the trailer does debut on October 21, it will premiere during the New York Jets vs. New England Patriots game during half time.

Fans speculated that the trailer would debut on October 14, but the actual date comes as a nice surprise since it falls on Star Wars’ Princess late Carrie Fisher’s (Princess Leia) birthday.  What better way to celebrate Fisher.

Although we’ve already gotten two teasers, this will be the film’s first full length trailer.  We’ll finally gain a little more insight on the film’s story line and hopefully another glimpse at Dark Rey.

We suspect that like previous years, the tickets will be released along with the trailer.  During Avengers: Endgame sales, the AMC Theatres website crashed, so have Atom, Fandango and the like ready to go to snag those Thursday night tickets.

The Rise of Skywalker comes out in theaters on December 20, 2019.
