Disney’s Fox Searchlight Pictures is set to release the Peter Pan film Wendy on February 28, 2020.
The film is directed by Beasts of the Southern Wild Benh Zeitlin, who co-wrote Eliza Zeitlin.

Wendy reimagines the classic Peter Pan tale from the point of view of Wendy Darling, who finds herself lost on a mysterious island where aging and time have come unglued. She must fight to save her family, her freedom and the joyous spirit of youth.

The film stars Tommie Lynn Milazzo as Wendy Darling, Shagy Walker as Angela Darling, Stephanie Lynn Wilson in a currently unknown role.
The Fox film has no connection to the previously announced Peter Pan live-action remake from director David Lowery (Pete’s Dragon) and Walt Disney Studios, which is said to still be in development at the studio.
