Kornblum was a key player in Disney’s international box office success. He specialized in structuring how the international box-office was reported, systems and scheduling for overseas markets.
Along with Disney, he also worked for the Buena Vista International Scale. He oversaw the acquisition of third-party products across various platforms and secured the rights of 220 films. A lot of the films he acquired went on to be box office hits, such films as Hacksaw Ridge, 12 Years A Slave, Lone Survivor, along with others.
No word on why he departed with the company.
