Moon Knight’s Gaspard Ulliel Passes Away At 37

Acclaimed French actor Gaspard Ulliel has sadly passed away at the age of 37 following a skiing incident.

The young actor and model was holidaying at the La Rosière resort in Savoie, France, when he suffered a significant injury on January 18th. He was taken to Grenoble Hospital, where he died the next day.

A graduate of the University of Saint-Denis, Ulliel began his acting career in the French television series Une Femme En Blanc. While already a star in his home country, Ulliel would receive international attention in 2007 when he starred in the title role in Hannibal Rising.

The two-time César Award-winning actor will next be seen in Marvel’s Moon Knight, where he plays Anton Mogart, a.k.a the villainous Midnight Man. His final on-screen appearance will be in the French film, More Than Ever, which will be released later this year.

Gaspard Ulliel is survived by his partner Gaëlle Piétri and their 5-year-old son. The whole DisInsider team sends their condolences to Ulliel’s family and friends during this difficult time.
