Looks like Marvel’s got some new golden boys.
After being tapped to direct a few episodes of Moon Knight, has now brought directing duo Justin Benson and & Aaron Moorehead back to the MCU to tackle the second season of Loki. This, according to Deadline.
They replace Kate Herron, who announced late last year that she would not be returning for the second season or a future Marvel project…for now, anyway.
While the tag team won’t direct every episode, the site says they are expected to direct a majority of the season. They join Tom Hiddleston and Michael Waldron, who will both be returning to star and run the show respectively.
Hiddleston is still the only actor officially signed on to return. Eric Martin (Rick & Morty, Heels) will pen each episode in the season.
Plot details are scarce, and more announcements are expected soon. However, this bit of news marks the first real sign that the production of the next season will begin soon.
