‘Spider-Man: No Way Home’ Hits Yet Another Box Office Milestone

After three months and more than 100 days in theaters, Spider-Man: No Way Home became the third film to ever reach $800 million dollars in the North American box office.

It now sits behind Star Wars: The Force Awakens and Avengers: Endgame, which made $936.6 million and $853.3 million over the course of each of their respective box office runs.

Spider-Man: No Way Home has made $1.88 billion dollars worldwide, becoming the sixth highest grossing film of all time. That’s without a release in China. Since the pandemic, the country has limited the number of international films it releases. It’s believed that, had the film been released there, it would have joined the highly coveted $2 billion dollar club.

It’s unclear if the film will ever release in that territory.
