If only pictures could talk…

Tuesday evening, a screenshot from an unknown Instagram story began making its way around the internet. Now, the screenshot captures a photo from an alleged wrap party with many of the cast and crew members from Only Murder in the Building present, as well as one very noteworthy addition: Paul Rudd.

While it’s possible that the actor was just showing his support for the popular streaming series, it’s more likely that he’s one of the many new actors moving into the building for season two.

After all, if big names such as Tina Fey, Nathan Lane, and even Sting could be kept secret for season one, we imagine that there are infinite possibilities for actors who could appear this time around. We already know the series will see the addition of comedians Michael Rapaport and Amy Schumer, as well as model/actress Cara Delevigne.

Having recently finished production on Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania, we know Rudd would have had plenty of free time to film the series too.

Now, as of now, this is just pure speculation based on a photo. Nothing is confirmed, and nothing will be until the series finally hits Hulu this Summer.

Although we don’t have any more info about Paul Rudd’s potential involvement, we do have the photo in question. Check it out below!

The ten-episode first season, which is currently streaming on Hulu, follows three strangers played by Steve Martin, Martin Short, and Selena Gomez. The three meet after realizing that they share an obsession with a true-crime podcast. After a suspicious death in their affluent Upper West Side apartment building called The Arconia, the three neighbors decide to start their own program covering their investigation of the death, which the police ruled a suicide.

In the upcoming second season , Martin, Short, and Gomez’s character struggle with continuing their podcast as they are implicated in a totally different homicide AND as a competing podcast emerges focusing on them.

The series returns June 28th.
