Just announced at San Diego Comic-Con: Marvel’s acclaimed Emmy award-nominated animated series What If…? will NOT hit Disney+ this year.
Instead, it’ll hit the platform early next year.
Despite having to wait just a little longer and not having an exact release date in sight, Marvel did still have some good news to comfort fans. A third season is official in the works!
So it appears that the studio has quite the backlog of alternate scenarios to explore for the foreseeable future.
