‘Captain America 4’ Title Confirmed At San Diego Comic-Con

Captain America 4 has gotten an official title.

The film will officially be called Captain America: New World Order.

If the title looks familiar, that’s because it was leaked early Friday morning on Reddit, as were some of the company’s other trademarked names.

No other details about the film were revealed at the convention, so no word on if Sebastian Stan will be reprising as Bucky Barnes or if anyone else from Falcon and the Winter Solider such as Wyatt Russell or Daniel Bruhl will return.

Last year, a report out of Deadline revealed that Chris Evans, who famously portrayed Captain America, will return to the MCU in his respective role. According to sources, it will not be for Captain America 4.

The film will be directed by Julius Onah (The Cloverfield Paradox, Luce)

Malcolm Spellman, who was the head writer and showrunner for the hit series The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, will be coming back to write the fourth installment of the Captain America franchise. Dalan Musson, a staff writer, will co-write the film with Spellman.

We expect some more announcements on Captain America 4 to come during Marvel Studios panel at Disney’s D23 Expo in September.
