‘Eternals 2’ Casually Confirmed By Patton Oswalt, Chloé Zhao Returning

Looks like there might an Eternals sequel after all.

In an appearance on NBC’s Today Show, Patton Oswalt seemed to speak to early when asked about his involvement in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The comedian, who appeared as Pip the Troll in a post-credit scene for the first Eternals film, started off by explaining his role before casually announcing Chloe Zhao’s involvement with a sequel as well as the return of both his character and Harry Style’s Starfox.

Last month, Kevin Feige actually discussed his excitement to continue the adventures of Pip and Starfox. It was unclear if they would get their own project, or if their relationship would be explored over the course of more Eternals films. If Oswalt’s slip-up hasn’t made it inherently obvious, we can expect to see lots more of both him and Styles in the latter.
