Giancarlo Esposito was the highlight of both seasons of The Mandalorian, the actor is returning for a third season, but could a jump to the Marvel Cinematic Universe be in the cards?
While various rumors and fan casts swirl, Esposito knows about all of them. What is interesting is he has actually met with Marvel Studios and while no casting for any particular character has been put into place at this time, the actor has revealed which roles he’s spoken with the company about. In the TikTok video posted by@countdowncitygeeks, Esposito name drops Magneto and Doctor Doom, and the leader of the X-Men Professor X.

While there is no confirmation if Esposito will in fact join the MCU, he seemed like it’s a real possibility. Next month, Marvel Studios has a panel at Disney’s D23 Expo. The event is expected to reveal additional project in phase 6, and The Mutants is expected to be apart of the announcements. It is in the realm of possibility he is up for Magneto or Professor X, we just have to wait and see.
