For the last week, there has been much speculation about Marvel moving forward with a second season of Ms. Marvel. Suspicions were confirmed Wednesday evening, however, thanks to a particular post uploaded on Instagram by two of the series’ directors.
In act of pure randomness, directors Adil El Arbi and Fallah Bilall posted a featurette for the first season with the caption, “Just reminiscing on our time spent in the MCU, who’s ready for season 2?!
If that doesn’t count as official confirmation that a second season is coming, then we don’t know what else does.
This isn’t the first time the directors have alluded to a second season though. Just a week after the first season’s finale, both Adil and Bilall discussed what fans could expect to see as Kamala Khan grew stronger.
While Marvel has yet to officially announce a second season of Ms. Marvel, the banner on the Disney+ homepage that says “Season Finale Now Streaming” seemingly confirms the show will return in the future.

Now, at this time there are no other details about the series, but it’s safe to assume that we will not be seeing Iman Vellani return as the titular character any time before this summer, which is when The Marvels blasts off into theaters.
For those unfamiliar with the series, it introduces Kamala Khan, a Muslim American teenager growing up in Jersey City. An avid gamer and a voracious fan-fiction scribe, Kamala is a Super Hero mega-fan with an oversized imagination—particularly when it comes to Captain Marvel. Yet Kamala feels like she doesn’t fit in at school and sometimes even at home—that is until she gets superpowers like the heroes she’s always looked up to. Life gets better with superpowers, right?
Iman Vellani stars as Kamala Khan aka Ms. Marvel. The cast also includes Aramis Knight, Saagar Shaikh, Rish Shah, Zenobia Shroff, Mohan Kapur, Matt Lintz, Yasmeen Fletcher, Laith Nakli, Azhar Usman, Travina Springer and Nimra Bucha.
Aside from Adil El Arbi & Bilall Fallah, episodes are directed by Meera Menon and Sharmeen Obaid-Chinoy. Kevin Feige, Louis D’Esposito, Victoria Alonso and Bisha K. Ali are the executive producers.
You can stream the entire series on Disney+ now.
