In a Disney Parks Blog post detailing the Disney 100 Celebration coming to the Disneyland Resort, Disney also announced that Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway’s opening will coincide with this celebration! The attraction will open on January 27th, 2023. Although the reimagined Mickey’s Toontown will not open until the Spring, the new attraction will open in January.
Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway is a trackless dark ride where the rider gets transported into the cartoon world with Mickey, Minnie, and friends. The ride opened in 2020 at Hollywood Studios at Walt Disney World and has since been a hit with guests.
