RUMOR: Colin Woodell Joins ‘Daredevil: Born Again’, Manny Jacinto Passes On Major Role
Following yesterday’s news about Michael Gandolfini joining Daredevil: Born Again (which was later officially confirmed by several major trades), industry insider Daniel RPK has come forward with some more casting news about the series.
According to him, Colin Woodell has been cast in an undisclosed villain role. For those unfamiliar with the actor, he has the leading role in Blumhouse’s found footage film Unfriended: Dark Web. He also appeared on the first season of USA’s The Purge series, as well as the first season of HBO Max’s The Flight Attendant.

That’s not all though. The scooper also revealed that former The Good Place star was also in talks to join the series, but ultimately turned down a major role. While he didn’t quite clarify which role Jacinto might have been in the running for, it’s important to note that the actor has been a frequent choice among fans to play the next iteration of Danny Rand a.k.a Iron Fist.
As always, because all of this info is unconfirmed, as always, we urge you to take it with a grain of salt.

What do you think of Woodell’s potential casting though? Who do you think Jacinto could have played? Do you think he and Woodell were in the running for the same character? Sound off below!
While we still have to wait 2 years before the series debuts, the good thing is that fans can still rewatch the original 3 seasons of the character’s live-action series, as well as his soft rebooted self in the latest Marvel series She-Hulk: Attorney at Law, right on Disney+ now.
