Disney and Marvel Team Up For New Comic Book Starring Scrooge McDuck?!?

Ever since Disney bought Marvel, we’ve seen several larger than life crossovers brought to life through the comics division. For example, King Kong has traversed the Planet of the Apes. And Wolverine has fought Predator.

This summer, the next unexpected comic book crossover is coming, and it will feature one of the most unexpected protagonists ever: Scrooge McDuck!

‘Uncle $crooge and the Infinity Dime #1’ is the closest collaboration Marvel Comics and Disney Animation have delivered thus far, and it marks a major return to comics for Scrooge, who has always had a revered spot in comic book history since his debut 80 years ago.

You can check out both covers for the upcoming project below!

This one-shot, written by Marvel veteran Jason Aaron and illustrated by acclaimed artists hailing from Uncle Scrooge’s long history, will see the legendary duck adventurer  embark on a time-honored Marvel adventure as he explores the Multiverse to stop a twisted alternate Scrooge from becoming the all-powerful and incomprehensibly rich Scrooge-Above-All!

Along the way, the story will introduce exciting new takes on the iconic tycoon with a heart of gold and feature appearances by Scrooge’s nephew, Donald Duck; grandnephews, Huey, Duey, and Louie; and his supporting cast of characters, including Gyro Gearloose!

Uncle Scrooge’s newest adventure will release on June 19, 2024!
