After famously declining a role in the Star Wars universe due to “rubbish” pay, Nick Frost is finally onboard to make his debut in the upcoming series Skeleton Crew.
This, according to People.
In an interview with the outlet, series creator Jon Watts (The MCU’s Spider-Man films) revealed that aboard the mysterious ship at the heart of the show will be an equally mysterious droid named SM 33.
Frost will provide the voice of said droid.
Watts describes the new character as the ship’s first mate, “a rusty old, cranky droid that sort of reluctantly helps the kids along the way.”
