It’s a moment that both comic book fans and Hugh Jackman have hoped to see on the big screen for years, a showdown between two of the strongest superheroes of all time: Wolverine and the Incredible Hulk. Although Deadpool and Wolverine teased that the fight was already happening in a different timeline, there’s a chance it might still happen in an upcoming film.
At least that’s what The Cosmic Circus says. In a recent Discord Q & A, the outlet alleged that Marvel Studios “really [wants] for Wolverine and Hulk to have their fight scene moment.”
While they didn’t get into specifics, they mentioned that the current plan is for both the X-Men and the Avengers to face off before the end of Multiverse Saga. So the idea is for both characters to have that moment if/when that happens.

Now, this is a rumor. So as always, we urge you to take it with a grain of salt. However, The Cosmic Circus has proven to be a reliable source in the past. For that reason, we’re inclined to believe there’s some truth to it.
In the meantime, we’ll just have to wait and see what happens. After the incredible success of Deadpool and Wolverine, we believe that we haven’t seen the last of Hugh Jackman’s iconic character.
In the comics, Wolverine and the Hulk have fought several times. The most famous face-off being in Incredible Hulk #340. The iconic cover for that comic, drawn by Todd McFarlane, features a reflection of the Hulk in Wolverine’s claws and is what was replicated in Deadpool and Wolverine.
