Taylor Swift set off a wave of speculation across social media and Hollywood on Thursday after a now-removed 48-hour countdown briefly appeared on her official channels. Fans and industry watchers were quick to note that the graphic used a cloud-speckled wallpaper and bold yellow-and-blue lettering, an aesthetic immediately reminiscent of Pixar’s Toy Story franchise.
The countdown appeared without explanation and was taken down minutes later, but not before screenshots and clips proliferated online. Observers pointed to the color palette and the sky-and-cloud motif, an echo of the classic wallpaper seen in Andy’s bedroom in the original Toy Story films, as evidence that Swift could be attached to the upcoming Toy Story 5 in some capacity.

There could be one of two possibilities here, a contribution to the film’s soundtrack or a surprise vocal cameo. Swift or her representatives have yet to comment or respond to requests for comment. Pixar and Disney have also yet to address anything.
Directed by Andrew Stanton (WALL•E), the film stars Tom Hanks (Woody), Tim Allen (Buzz Lightyear), Joan Cusack (Jessie), Greta Lee (Lilypad), Conan O’Brien (Smarty Pants), Tony Hale (Forky), John Ratzenberger (Hamm), Wallace Shawn (Rex), Blake Clarke (Slinky Dog), Jeff Bergman (Mr. Potato Head), Anna Vocino (Mrs. Potato Head), Bonnie Hunt (Dolly), Ernie Hudson (Combat Carl), and Keanu Reeves (Duke Caboom).
The film releases exclusively in theaters nationwide on June 19, 2026.
