Fans of Disney’s cruise line beware!
Last month, between April 23 and April 28, US Customs and Border Protection arrested 28 crew members aboard several different cruise ships docked in San Diego. At least one was a Disney Cruise ship. However, law enforcement sources did not specify the name.
According to The California Post, all subjects were involved in either the receipt, possession, transportation, distribution, or viewing of CSEM (Child Sexual Exploitation Material) or child pornography.
Twenty-six of the crew members were from the Philippines, one was from Portugal and one was from Indonesia.
A spokesperson for Disney Cruise Line issued the following statement to the press:
“We have a zero-tolerance policy for this type of behavior and fully cooperated with law enforcement. While the majority of these individuals were not from our cruise line, those who were are no longer with the company.”
All crew members were promptly deported, according to Customs and Border Patrol.
