‘Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol. 3’ Will Reportedly Begin Production In 2021

There has been a lot talks about what’s going to become of ‘Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3’. No offical word has been given but since the firing of James Gunn, we can only hope.

‘Guardians’ has become one of the most successful franchises under the Marvel umbrella. Both films have grossed over 1.6 billion combined and that’s not counting their appearance in ‘Avengers: Infinity War’. This all came crashing down when former director, James Gunn, became under fire for tweets he sent in 2011. Although he apologized twice for the tweets, Disney decided to let him go. Fans all over the world have been in an uproar over the firing, as well as cast members of the films. Gunn has now been hired to pen the ‘Suicide Squad 2’ film, so all hope is not lost.

It was reported today that production of the third film will start in February of 2021 under the working title name, “Hot Christmas”. Word is Marvel will still be using Gunn’s script; however, no word if he will get a writing credit for the film. As far as potential directors for the film, no one at the moment are being looked at.

Until we have an actual confirmation about the film, this is still all speculation.

You can still see your favorite group of misfits in ‘Avengers 4’, hitting theaters May 3, 2019.
