Jessica Biel is Candy, but She Ain’t Sweet

Biel leads the new Hulu series about murderous housewife Candy Montgomery

Playing against type, Jessica Biel leads the neo-noir limited series Candy.

Today, Hulu released photos and a teaser of the show, which also stars Timothy Simons, Melanie Lynskey, Pablo Schreiber, and Raul Esparza.

The show hits air on May 9 – 13.

Deadline’s Matt Grobar posted:

In the series, Biel plays Candy Montgomery, a 1980s housewife and mother who did everything right—good husband, two kids, nice house, even the careful planning and execution of transgressions. But when the pressure of conformity builds within her, her actions scream for just a bit of freedom. With deadly results.

Biel looks deadly serious in this series, as well.
