This just in. Sony has just officially confirmed that a third Venom film is in development.
The announcement came along with a trove of other Sony Spider-Verse “goodies” revealed during the studio’s presentation at CinemaCon, including a new name for the third animated Spider-Verse film and a brand new live action solo spin-off starring Bad Bunny – yes, you read right.

The announcement of a third film was imminent considering how what the post-credit scenes for both Venom: Let There Be Carnage and Spider-Man: No Way Home teased. Prior to this, Sony’s Amy Pascal had only teased that things were “in the planning stages.”
No other details were given about the next entry at the panel.
