‘Agatha: Coven of Chaos’ Season Length and Directors Revealed

It seems like Agatha wants to own the week for Marvel news!

After earlier in the week it was revealed a handful of castings that include Aubrey Plaza, Joe Locke, Ali Ahn and Maria Dizzia in undisclosed roles, we now know how many episodes will be in the season and who might direct!

According to The Illuminerdi, they’ve reported that the season will be a limited series, like ‘WandaVision’, but also be 9 episodes as well. It is currently unknown if the runtimes will be around the same as ‘WandaVision’, 30-35 min roughly, but the longer season is always welcomed!

Also revealed are at least two directors that will helm an episode each; Jac Shaeffer who is coming off writing the wildly successful ‘WandaVision’ and now is the head writer, creator, and executive producer of ‘Agatha: Coven of Chaos’.

The second name is Gandja Monteiro, who is best known for directing and producing multiple episodes of ‘The Chi’ and the upcoming Netflix series ‘Wednesday’.

With all the news this week regarding the project, this is surely brewing up to be something special and becoming quite anticipated!

No release date has been given, however with filming starting possibly this month according to Kathryn Hahn in an interview with Collider, we should have this show sooner than later!
