It’s no secret that Marvel Studios is developing a 5th (and potentially final) Thor film.
While Taika Waititi was originally set to return to direct, his busy schedule coupled with rumors of other directors signing on have led many to believe the job is wide open.

While promoting his latest film, Furiosa, in a recent interview with ComicBook.com, Academy Award-winner George Miller was asked about his experience working with Chris Hemsworth. Hemsworth, plays the film’s antagonist.
When asked specifically about re-teaming with Hemsworth on a superhero film like Thor 5, Miller didn’t hesitate to say yes.
He said, “I would work with Chris on anything. I really would. He’s a wonderful actor. He’s got the full range, all the skills.”
He would go on to praise Hemsworth’s ability to be “athletic physically,…emotionally and intellectually.”
Now, Miller has had quite the epic career making films of almost every genre. Unfortunately, the one time he tried to make a superhero film, the studio pulled the plug days before production. For those who don’t know, that film was an animated epic Justice League movie titled Justice League: Mortal. The studio was (unsurprisingly) Warner Bros.

So not only would it bring Miller’s career full circle to finally shoot a superhero film, but it appears that it would also please Hemsworth to worth with the director again.
Considering how much of a visionary Miller is, we’d be lying if we said we weren’t curious to see what a Marvel movie helmed by him would look like.
