In the Marvel Cinematic Universe, anything really is possible.
You might recall that a few months ago we reported on a rumor about Taylor Swift being eyed for a potential role in a future Marvel Studios project. Now, it appears that there is another award-winning icon who is also on Marvel’s radar.
According to industry insider Daniel RPK, Marvel Studios is interested in Billie Eilish for a big role in an upcoming project.
Sadly, he had no other info to divulge about the scale of the project or who the character could be.
While neither Marvel or any of the major trades have not confirmed or commented on the rumor, we urge you to take it with a grain of salt.
Still, considering RPK’s track record, we are inclined to believe there is some truth to it.
Earlier this week, Marvel unveiled an updated new slate filled with several release date for mystery projects. Perhaps Eilish is destined for one of these. Perhaps, Feige and company have plans to use the star for a smaller scale project on Disney+.
It’s worth noting that this wouldn’t be the Oscar-winning musician’s first acting role. Last year, she made her acting debut in the Donald Glover-produced series Swarm on Amazon Prime.
