RUMOR: Sadie Sink Is Marvel’s Top Choice To Play Jean Grey In New X-Men Project

It’s no secret that Marvel Studios is working on a live-action X-Men project. However, the lack of actual updates about it have led many to believe that development is still on the back burner. According to a new rumor though, not only does the movie seem to be coming out much sooner than expected. Casting may be near completion for one of the main characters too.

According to industry insider Jeff Sneider, Stranger Things star Sadie Sink is Marvel’s top choice to play Jean Grey in the next iteration of the X-Men.

Earlier this year it was announced that Michael Leslie had been tapped to start writing Marvel’s X-Men. It was also revealed that Marvel Studios is looking to begin filming on the project sometime in late 2025. So it makes sense as to why we start to hear about casting for the project now.

This means the soonest we could see the X-Men in their own movie on the big screen again is 2027 at the earliest.

Aside from Stranger Things, Sink has appeared in Netflix’s Fear Street films and the Academy Award-winning film The Whale.

What do you think about Sink’s potential casting? Sound off below!
