It’s no secret that the Marvel Cinematic Universe is only just beginning, but for a while it’s been a little unclear as to how many projects the studio currently has in development. Thanks to one of the top executives at Marvel, we finally have an answer.
In a recent interview with 221Radio, Marvel’s Victoria Alonso confirmed the exact number of projects being juggled by the giant.
She said, “We are currently working on 31 projects.” While most would consider even more than one project at once to be too much on their plate, Alonso assured fans that the studio would try its hardest to give every project equal attention.
“We want people to understand that [with] the idea we have, to tell these connected stories, it is important that the world knows that the characters [and stories] we create have to do with how humans interact with each other,” she added.
While Alonso declined to hint at any new future projects, it’s only inevitable that they come to light. Some of the projects included in the 31 are Hawkeye, Secret Invasion, and even Fantastic Four. We’re hopeful that there will be some surprises unveiled at next month’s Disney+ Day, but we’ll just have to wait and see.
