Black Widow news is starting to pump out and more casting news is being released.
Earlier today, That Hashtag Show reported that Emma Watson (Harry Potter, Beauty and the Beast, Perks of being a Wallflower) is one of the front runners for a lead female role in the film.

Now new information from That Hashtag Show puts Andre Holland (Moonlight, American Horror Story, Selma) up for an undisclosed villian role. Holland had read for the role earlier this week and has peaked Marvel’s interest. No word has been disclosed on whether or not this is true.
The film is expected to release May 1, 2020 but that is subject to change.

Cate Shortland is attached to direct with Ned Benson and Jac Schaeffer penning the script. Production is expected to start at Pinewood Studios UK in Iver Heath, Buckinghamshire, England. The film will be under the working title Blue Bayou during production.
