Millie Bobby Brown, the star of the hit Netflix series, Stranger Things, could be a joining a Star Wars project, according to the Mirror.
According to the tabloid, Brown had a “secret meeting” with Lucasfilm president Kathleen Kennedy, about joining the Star Wars universe. Her involvement could earn her upwards of $15 million because of “how much of an icon she is already for the 10 to 30-year-old audience and what that brings in terms of appeal.”
“She’s had contact with Kathleen, who is aware of her desire to feature in a movie or play a central role in one of the new TV projects for Disney Plus. The conversations are currently informal with no deals set or in the works at the moment. However, there’s mutual respect between both parties and a desire to find something that works for Lucasfilm and Brown. She doesn’t need to audition – it’s more a case of how the director and her bond. She has the gravitas to hold down the lead for that universe.”

It should be noted, this report comes from a British tabloid and most tabloids are known for news stories that are over-exaggerated, sensationalized, or falsified for the sake of grabbing readers’ attentions and generating higher profit. We have seen on numerous occasions of rumors like this happening such as the Jennifer Lawrence joining Fantastic Four rumor over a year ago. That said, there have been numerous occasions where the tabloids have put out accurate reports. This should be taken with a massive grain of salt.
Let’s just say this turns out to be true, what Disney+ project could Millie Bobby Brown join? First is The Acolyte, which will focus on the emergence of dark side powers in the final days of the High Republic Era. Imagine Brown as a Jedi struggling with the dark side something we have seen in her do in Stranger Things. The other possible project is the Skeleton Crew, which is set to star Jude Law (Captain Marvel) and follows a group of four kids (around 10 to 12 years old) who are from a “tiny little planet” that end up getting lost in the Star Wars galaxy. The series will focus on their tumultuous journey home.
